Jakarta, Oct. 17 -- Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin said that President Prabowo Subianto has shown strong dedication to defending the interests of the Indonesian people during his first year in office.

He noted that Prabowo has devoted much of his time to improving public welfare through strategic government programs, particularly in healthcare and food security.

Sjamsoeddin added that the president rarely takes a day off, as he remains focused on serving the people.

"The president constantly thinks about how to ensure national food self-sufficiency," he said.
