Jakarta, Dec. 17 -- Indonesian President Prabowo has arrived in West Sumatra Province to carry out another round of on-site assessments of residents' conditions and infrastructure in regions affected by the recent severe floods and landslides.
The presidential aircraft landed at Minangkabau International Airport in Padang Pariaman District on Wednesday at 6:31 p.m. local time, according to ANTARA's observation.
Accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya on his flight, the head of state was welcomed by West Sumatra Governor Mahyeldi and West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Gatot Tri Suryanta upon his arrival.
