Jakarta, Feb. 8 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto vowed to make his utmost efforts to shield the entire population from poverty, hunger, and limited access to essential services such as health and education, underscoring his oath of office.
He reflected on his presidential inauguration on October 20, 2024, during the centenary celebration of the major Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama in Malang, East Java, on Sunday, as broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta.
Prabowo affirmed that, as head of state, he is bound by the mandate of the 1945 Constitution to protect the people and the nation from all forms of threats, both in the traditional and non-traditional dimensions of security.
