Jakarta, Dec. 11 -- Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that President Prabowo Subianto's visit to Islamabad was warmly welcomed and resulted in the signing of six memorandums of understanding (MoUs).

Wijaya, through a post on the Instagram account @Sekretariat.kabinet on Thursday, wrote that President Prabowo departed directly for Islamabad after inspecting disaster response efforts in Bireuen, Aceh, last weekend.

A total of six JF-17 Thunder fighter jets belonging to the Pakistan Air Force escorted the Presidential Aircraft as it entered Pakistani airspace.

Upon arrival at Nur Khan Base Airport, President Prabowo was welcomed directly by Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
