New York City, Sept. 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed Indonesia's support for the United Nations and a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during a bilateral meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday.
The two leaders met behind closed doors on the 27th floor of the UN Secretariat Building after Prabowo delivered remarks at a high-level conference on Palestine and the two-state solution.
Foreign Minister Sugiono said Prabowo stressed the importance of global solidarity in preserving peace and stability during the talks with Guterres.
Prabowo also highlighted sustainable development and the role of developing nations in strengthening the multilateral system, he added.
