Jakarta, Feb. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto reiterated Indonesia's desire to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), as well as other economic cooperation forums such as BRICS.
Speaking at the World Governments Summit through a video conference on Thursday (February 13), Prabowo emphasized Indonesia's commitment to the non-aligned movement and principles of equality, self-determination and sovereignty.
"This approach guides Indonesia's participation in many international organizations. Not only BRICS, we also apply to join the OECD, CPTPP and the Indo-Pacific Forum advocating for dialogue among equals, rather than adversaries," he said.
