Indonesia, Jan. 1 -- President Prabowo Subianto has reassured the public that under his leadership, the Indonesian government remains firmly committed to serving and assisting citizens affected by natural disasters.

"Rest assured, your government, your leaders, and your president will not leave you alone," Prabowo said while addressing flood survivors at an evacuation shelter in Batu Hula Village, South Tapanuli District, North Sumatra, on Wednesday night, December 31.
