Jakarta, Jan. 13 -- President Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the development of Nusantara (IKN), Indonesia's future capital in East Kalimantan, as a national strategic project, Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono stated.

In a social media post cited in Jakarta, he said the president reassured the public of the government's commitment to IKN development through his first visit to the city as head of state from Monday to Tuesday.

"I accompanied Mr. President on his working visit to Nusantara, an official agenda that underscores the government's commitment to continuing the city's development as a national strategic project," he noted.
