Jakarta, Dec. 12 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has set a year-end target for his aides to conclude tariff negotiations with the United States, according to Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

Addressing the press during an event marking the 37th anniversary of the Indonesian Issuers Association, Hartarto highlighted his meeting with Ambassador Jamieson Greer from the Office of the US Trade Representative to advance the negotiations on Thursday night (December 11).

"We have agreed to follow up on the points agreed in the Leaders Declaration on July 22. To this end, an Indonesian delegation will return to Washington in the hopes of concluding what we have started by the end of this year," he said.
