St. Petersburg, June 20 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is seeking to increase the number of Indonesian students studying in Russia through scholarships from the government.

"We have reached many new agreements, and we particularly want to increase the number of young Indonesians studying in Russia with scholarships provided by the Indonesian government," he stated at a press conference after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Konstantinovsky Palace, St. Petersburg, Russia, on Thursday.

President Prabowo described his meeting with Putin as warm and productive. The two countries discussed cooperation in various sectors, including trade and investment.
