Indonesia, Dec. 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the government's solidarity with victims of the Sumatra floods and landslides, vowing that the state will not leave affected residents to struggle alone.
"We are all one big family. We will not let you carry this burden alone," he said while visiting flood survivors at an evacuation post in Batang Anai Sub-district, Padang Pariaman District, West Sumatra, on Monday.
During his visit, Prabowo listened directly to reports from the West Sumatra Governor and the Padang Pariaman District Head regarding the condition of displaced residents and the damage caused by the catastrophic disasters.
