Jakarta, April 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto has outlined his government's initiative to provide scholarships to Palestinians to study at the Indonesia Defense University (Universitas Pertahanan).

According to the President, the initiative emphasizes Indonesia's continuous commitment to opening the door for Palestinian students to pursue education in Indonesia, in addition to building health facilities in the West Bank and Gaza.

"We want them to return to their homeland safe, healthy, and educated," he said at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) 2025 in Turkey on Friday.

Besides supporting the construction of facilities in Gaza, Indonesia has also sent a medical team to provide assistance to residents affected by the conflict.
