Jakarta, Feb. 19 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto introduced his administration's nationwide digital classroom initiative while addressing United States business leaders in Washington, D.C.
Speaking at a US Chamber of Commerce forum on Wednesday, Prabowo said the government has been distributing interactive flat panels to schools as part of efforts to modernize the education sector.
The program aims to ensure equitable access to quality education, including for students in remote areas, he added.
"I was very moved when I received a letter from a principal in a remote area of Papua saying that the school had never felt such attention from the government before," he said.
