Jakarta, Dec. 7 -- Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto has ordered the immediate restoration of land routes severed by floods and landslides in Sumatra, during a limited meeting at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Saturday.

State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, who attended the meeting, said the president called for accelerated logistics distribution, particularly fuel supplies, which have been disrupted as several major roads and key bridges were cut off by the disasters.

"The president instructed the acceleration of efforts in the areas that remain isolated and emphasized the need to speed up fuel distribution, which has been hindered by damaged routes," he said in a statement.
