Sumedang, West Java, June 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto has instructed the Ministry of Home Affairs to organize a national retreat for secretaries from provincial, district, and municipal governments across Indonesia, according to Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian.

"The President has asked me to arrange a retreat in Magelang for regional secretaries. As senior bureaucrats, it's important to strengthen their capacity," Karnavian said on Monday.

Speaking after opening the second batch of the national retreat for regional leaders at the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) in Sumedang, West Java, Karnavian confirmed the upcoming event would be held at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java.
