Deli Serdang, Sept. 19 -- Under the instruction of President Prabowo Subianto, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan on Friday distributed 1.5 tons of rice as government food assistance to 150 residents in Sena Village, Deli Serdang District, North Sumatra.

Each beneficiary received 10 kilograms of rice during the distribution held at the office of the Sena Village head.

"This aid was ordered by the president," Hasan remarked.

The minister expressed hope that the food assistance would bring real benefits to the residents in need.
