Jakarta, June 2 -- President Prabowo Subianto's reunion with former president Megawati Soekarnoputri reflects their shared commitment to Indonesia's national unity, according to Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Hidayat Nur Wahid.

"I believe their meeting will be seen as a positive signal for unity and a commitment to upholding the values of Pancasila," Wahid said on Monday, referring to Indonesia's state ideology.
