Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto met executives from 12 major global investment firms in Washington on Friday to strengthen strategic investment partnerships, as Indonesia seeks to boost capital inflows and economic growth.

Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani, who also serves as chief operating officer of Danantara, said the 12 firms collectively manage about US$16 trillion in assets under management.

"We have just concluded a session where the President met directly with 12 of the world's largest investment companies, with total assets under management of around US$16 trillion," Rosan told reporters after the meeting.
