Jakarta, Jan. 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Indonesia's new capital, Nusantara (IKN), located in North Penajam Paser District, East Kalimantan, on Monday afternoon, marking his first presidential visit to the future seat of government.
He began his inaugural visit to IKN at the Garuda Palace after completing a series of activities earlier in the day in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, and Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
According to a live broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat monitored in Jakarta, Prabowo landed at the palace complex aboard a Super Puma helicopter and was welcomed by Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono and several members of the Red and White Cabinet.
