Jakarta, Feb. 6 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto invited Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to attend the Ocean Impact Summit (OIS) 2026, set to be held in Bali this June.

This was conveyed by the president during a joint press conference with Albanese following the two leaders' meeting at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday.

"In closing, I invite Prime Minister Albanese to attend the Ocean Impact Summit in Bali this June," he said.

Prabowo expressed his hope that the Prime Minister's presence would help ensure the summit achieves tangible results and further bolsters maritime cooperation between Indonesia and Australia.
