Jakarta, Jan. 7 -- President Prabowo Subianto awarded honors to key figures in agriculture during the National Harvest Festival and rice self-sufficiency announcement in Karawang, West Java, on Wednesday.

The ceremony, attended online by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, recognized contributions to strengthening Indonesia's national food security and agricultural independence.

Awards were issued under Presidential Decrees No. 1 and 2 TK of 2026, granting the Bintang Jasa and Satyalencana Wirakarya honors, signed in Jakarta on January 7.

Prabowo presented the Bintang Jasa Utama to Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman for his leadership in boosting production and driving agricultural reforms nationwide.
