Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto expressed his admiration for Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and said he has been inspired by many of Lula's policies during a tete-a-tete meeting at the President's Office, Merdeka Palace, on Thursday.

"We have a good relationship. Personally, I admire your policies and I follow many of them, as we share the same interests and ambitious goals to improve the welfare of our people," President Prabowo told President Lula.

Expressing gratitude for President Lula's visit to Indonesia, Prabowo also emphasized the similarities between the two nations.
