Jakarta, Nov. 29 -- President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that Indonesia must not depend on other countries in order to safeguard the nation's security and future.

"We do not want to depend on any country in the world, and we must not. For the safety and future of our nation, we must believe in our own strength," President said in his remarks at the 2025 Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting in Jakarta, Friday.

Prabowo highlighted the importance of national self-reliance amid global geopolitical and geoeconomic uncertainty.

The President stressed that the government must act with good intentions, uphold truth and justice, and also implement policies that are transparent, rational, and pro-people.
