Jakarta, Jan. 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto convened several ministers to a meeting on Sunday to finalize plans for national industrial transformation, with a focus on textiles and automotive semiconductor production.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that the meeting was held at the President's private residence in Hambalang, Bogor.

"The President requested the strengthening of the textile and garment industry, primarily through supply chain revitalization," Teddy said.

Furthermore, the President emphasized the need to bolster the automotive and electronics sectors by investing in semiconductor technology.
