Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- President Prabowo Subianto joined the closing ceremony of the 6th Indonesian Democratic Party (Demokrat) Congress here on Tuesday evening with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, in tow.

The President received a warm welcome from chairperson of the Demokrat Party's High Council, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), and general chairperson of the Demokrat Party's Central executive board, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

Dressed in a gray suit and tie with light and dark blue stripes, Prabowo shook hands with SBY. They engaged in a brief conversation of two minutes. Next, VP Gibran shook hands with SBY.
