Jakarta, Nov. 18 -- President Prabowo Subianto conveyed agreement to the ratification of the Bill concerning Amendments to Law Number 8 of 1981 on the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), as informed by Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas.

The KUHAP Bill has been approved by the House of Representatives (DPR) Plenary Session for ratification into law, following the completion of deliberations on the revisions in Commission III.

Agtas explained that the KUHAP Bill contains several fundamental reforms designed to adapt the criminal procedure system to current developments.
