Jakarta, Nov. 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Professor Arif Satria as Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and Professor Amarulla Octavian as Deputy Head at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday.

Currently serving as the 15th Rector of the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB), Satria succeeded Laksana Tri Handoko, while Octavian-a retired navy vice admiral-extended his service at BRIN as Deputy Head.

The inauguration began with the Deputy for Apparatus Administration at the Ministry of State Secretariat reading out Presidential Decree No. 123/P of 2025 on the dismissal and appointment of the head and deputy head of the BRIN.
