Jakarta, Feb. 11 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has officially formed a committee to select new members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) board of commissioners, appointing Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as chairman.

The announcement was delivered by Arief Wibisono, expert staff to the finance minister for financial services and capital markets, during a press conference at the Finance Ministry in Jakarta on Wednesday. Arief serves as head of the committee's secretariat.

"We have initiated the selection for OJK commissioners, opening opportunities for Indonesia's best talents to participate in the process," he said.
