Jakarta, Jan. 22 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said on Thursday that Indonesia continues to grow steadily despite global economic uncertainty, recording economic growth of more than 5 percent.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Prabowo cited recent praise from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which described Indonesia as a "global bright spot" amid tightening financial conditions, trade tensions, and political uncertainty worldwide.
"While the world has faced tightening financial conditions, trade tensions, and political uncertainty, Indonesia continues to grow," Prabowo said in remarks monitored in Jakarta.
