Jakarta, Nov. 22 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed plans to launch a strategic partnership between the two countries, according to Indonesia's Cabinet Secretariat.

In an Instagram post, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations during a virtual meeting on Saturday.

"On that occasion, both parties discussed officially launching the Indonesia-United Kingdom Strategic Partnership, which is expected to mark a new milestone in cooperation between the two countries," he said.
