Jakarta, April 15 -- Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto and Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister, Denis Manturov, discussed progress on negotiations for a free trade agreement with Eurasian countries during a meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, who also attended the meeting, said Indonesia hopes to finalize the agreement during Prabowo's upcoming visit to St. Petersburg, Russia, later this year.
"We discussed the Indonesia-Eurasian free trade agreement and hope it can be completed when the President visits St. Petersburg," Hartarto said at a press conference following the meeting.
