Jakarta, June 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled to appear alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) around 2 p.m. local time on Friday.

"Since this is an investment forum, the President will also join the plenary session together with President Putin at 2 p.m.," Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said in the lobby of the Taleon Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia, prior to leaving with President Prabowo for the forum.

He informed that Prabowo's participation in the prestigious forum will seek to highlight Indonesia's key achievements and outline the direction of strategic economic cooperation between Indonesia and Russia.
