Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto affirmed that Indonesia and Brazil share similar views on international political issues, particularly in urging an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and Ukraine.

"In international politics, we support each other and share the same stance. On the issues of Palestine and Ukraine, we both want a quick ceasefire," Prabowo said in a joint statement with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at the Merdeka Palace here on Thursday.

Prabowo emphasized that both countries consider real and just peace essential.
