Jakarta, Aug. 31 -- President Prabowo Subianto, joined by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, led a plenary cabinet meeting on Sunday at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta to discuss strategic efforts to maintain national stability amid rising socio-political tensions.

Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, delivering the meeting's outcomes, said President Prabowo is closely monitoring national developments and directed the military and police to remain united and vigilant in protecting public safety.
