Jakarta, April 12 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is set to engage his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on Saturday in a discussion about geopolitical issues and their nations' strategic partnership at Al-Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo.
"President Prabowo will consult with President El-Sisi, discussing regional geopolitics, the situation in Gaza, and other strategic matters," Yusuf Permana, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of Prabowo's secretariat, noted in a press release cited here on Saturday.
Egypt marks the third stop on President Prabowo's Middle East diplomatic tour, which began on Wednesday (April 9), when he was hosted by President Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.
