Jakarta, Feb. 3 -- Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana said online gambling transactions have been significantly reduced following firm measures taken by President Prabowo Subianto.

He noted that pressure on efforts to eradicate online gambling has been particularly intense for PPATK, especially amid the rapid development of financial technology.

"If it were not for the firmness of our President, Prabowo Subianto, we would not have been able to make history by reducing online gambling," Yustiavandana said during a meeting with House of Representatives (DPR RI) Commission III at the parliament complex on Tuesday.
