Jakarta, Jan. 16 -- PT Pos Indonesia has launched an international cargo service aimed at Indonesian migrant workers (PMI), as well as Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, to facilitate the delivery of goods from overseas to Indonesia.

Prasabri Pesti, Acting Director of Pos Indonesia's Courier and Logistics Business, said the service offers shipments from abroad to Indonesia with relaxed import duty arrangements for Hajj pilgrims and Indonesian migrant workers, competitive shipping rates, real-time tracking, and faster delivery through air cargo.

"Supported by Pos Indonesia's nationwide network, this service is expected to provide tangible benefits for Indonesian migrant workers and pilgrims," Pesti said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
