Jakarta, April 18 -- Chief of National Police (Polri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo urged Indonesians observing Good Friday to reflect on its sacred significance as a means to strengthen national unity.

"Let us use this moment as an opportunity to contemplate, renew our faith, and deepen our love as a foundation to solidify our unity," he noted in a statement here on Friday.

He stated that national unity will serve as a tool to realize the aspirations of an Advanced Indonesia and the 2045 Golden Indonesia.

Prabowo also conveyed his greetings to Christians celebrating Good Friday.
