Jakarta, June 25 -- Chief of the National Police ( Polri ), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, on Wednesday launched the construction of 24 nutrition fulfillment service units (SPPGs), or special kitchens, to supply food for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.

"This morning, we are initiating the development of 24 SPPGs to support the Free Nutritious Meals program," he announced in Solo, Central Java, on Wednesday, according to a statement released by Polri in Jakarta.

According to General Prabowo, the construction of the 24 kitchens is expected to be completed within the next three months. He said that the facilities are expected to prepare food for nearly 91 thousand residents across Central Java.
