Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- The Indonesian National Police (Polri), through its Logistics Staff (Slog), is working to stabilize food prices by launching the Affordable Food Program (GPM) in East Jakarta.

"In line with the Chief of Police's directive, this activity is a tangible form of Polri's support for the government's program as well as proof of our presence for the people," said Polri Assistant for Logistics, Commissioner General Suwondo Nainggolan, in East Jakarta on Wednesday.

Suwondo explained that the initiative, carried out jointly with the East Jakarta Metro Police, is a concrete step to support the government's efforts in stabilizing food prices and easing the burden on communities.
