Jakarta, July 30 -- The National Police (Polri) has introduced Policetube, a video-sharing platform designed to improve transparency regarding police activities and increase public trust in the law enforcement institution.
Head of the Polri Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, noted in a statement here on Wednesday, that the police had previously disseminated information regarding the police activities through the Integrated Information Management System (SPIT) and Mediahub.
However, those platforms were limited to narratives and photos.
