Jakarta, March 31 -- Deputy Chief of the Greater Jakarta Police, Brigadier General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy, stated that Eid al-Fitr is a momentum for enhancing the spirit of public service to the community.

"I hope that the Eid celebration will strengthen togetherness within the police force and boost our spirit of service to the community," Abadhy noted in a statement received here on Monday.

The brigadier general explained that this Eid celebration is not only about victory after observing Ramadan but also about strengthening brotherhood and compassion.
