Jakarta, July 30 -- The Forensic Laboratory Center ( Puslabfor ) of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Department ( Bareskrim Polri ) on Wednesday conducted an on-site investigation into the fire that ravaged Taman Puring Market in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, earlier this week.

"The Puslabfor team was scheduled to examine the Taman Puring fire scene at 10 a.m. The team departed from Sentul to the location," South Jakarta Metro Police's public relations officer, Commissioner Murodih, said in Jakarta.

The forensic team arrived at the market around 11:51 a.m. local time. Wearing navy blue uniforms, they inspected several areas around the market that were affected by the fire.
