Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- Chief of the National Police (Polri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that Polri had deployed 10,999 personnel to support flood and landslide response measures in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

"We deployed 10,999 personnel for Aceh Regional Police, North Sumatra Regional Police, and West Sumatra Regional Police," he stated while delivering reports to President Prabowo Subianto at a Cabinet meeting in Jakarta on Monday.

Listyo stated that the police have also deployed the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) teams for handling the deceased victims, trauma healing teams, and Mobile Brigade (Brimob) standby troops.
