Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- Police in Depok City confirmed that no explosives were found after officers searched 10 senior high schools that had received bomb threats on Tuesday.
"All schools are safe as we found no suspicious objects during our search," said Adjunct Commissioner Made Budi, head of the public relations division of the Depok Police.
The targeted schools included SMA Arrahman, SMA Al Mawaddah, SMA 4 Depok, SMA PGRI 1, SMA Bintara Depok, SMA Budi Bakti, SMA Cakra Buana, SMA 7 Sawangan, SMA Nurrurahman, and SMA 6 Depok.
The sweeping operation was carried out by the Police Mobile Corps' Gegana anti-terror unit together with local officers.
