Kota Bandung, July 21 -- The West Java Regional Police have arrested LS, a 69-year-old fugitive wanted for her alleged role in a baby trafficking network operating between Indonesia and Singapore.

Head of Public Relations for the West Java Regional Police Senior Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan said in Bandung on Monday that LS' arrest was the result of close cooperation between West Java Regional Police and immigration authorities.

LS came under the immigration scanner after the police filed a travel ban against her.

"LS was finally apprehended at immigration, and we immediately went there, led by the director of criminal investigation at the West Java Regional Police," Rochmawan informed.
