Jakarta, Sept. 8 -- The Indonesian National Police (Polri) is collaborating with the intelligence agencies to hunt down the main perpetrators behind recent riots in various regions.

Involving Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the joint effort follows a series of demonstrations that have drawn national attention and concern.

"We will certainly work together with our colleagues from the TNI, BAIS, BIN, and all elements that can provide information so we can resolve this," said National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo in Jakarta on Monday.
