Indonesia, Jan. 4 -- Indonesia's state-run electricity firm PLN said it is ready to supply safe and reliable power for the construction of 15,000 temporary housing units for residents displaced by floods and landslides across Sumatra, underscoring government efforts to speed up recovery.
PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said on Saturday that the company is fully prepared to carry out government directives to ensure electricity availability at all temporary housing sites built for disaster-affected communities.
