Banda Aceh, Aceh, Dec. 21 -- State electricity company PT PLN confirmed that it has fully restored the electricity distribution system in Aceh following devastating floods and landslides that paralyzed the province, along with North Sumatra and West Sumatra.

"Aceh's electricity system has recovered. All substations are operating normally, supported by generators and transmission lines that are back in operation. This forms an important foundation to ensure stable electricity distribution to residents," PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said in a written statement on Sunday.
