Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Peruvian President Dina Boluarte described Indonesia as a valuable trade partner for her country in Southeast Asia and praised it as one of the most dynamic economies in Asia.

During a joint press conference with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday, she noted that Indonesia and Peru had reached a significant milestone in their 50 years of cooperation.

"Indonesia stands not only as the world's fourth-most populous country, but also as the largest Muslim democracy globally. Five decades of friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding have forged a solid and enduring bond," Boluarte remarked.
